On December 1, 2018, the Confucius Institute U.S. Center will be taking a group of Confucius Institute Alumni on a 10-day trip to China. As students of their local Confucius Institutes, they have engaged with the Chinese language and culture in their own unique way. Each of them has shared their story with the CIUS Center about the home they were able to find in Chinese language and culture. Some have even been lucky enough to visit China in person, witnessing this home in a physical way. For others, this will be their first experience encountering this language and culture in the place in which it was developed. With this journey, we hope to bring these members of the Confucius Institute family together to share their stories of this "home" with one another and with the rest of the world.
