Confucius Institute U.S. Center is hosting Raising Global Leaders Fundraiser and Reception in partnership with Future Global Leaders China Trip. Six years ago, a group of dynamic 4 and 5-year-olds began their journey together at the award-winning Chinese immersion school, Washington Yu Ying Public Charter School in the District of Columbia. This summer, the group of now fifth-grade students will head to China, for a full immersion exchange program where they will live, attend school and experience summer camps with their Chinese counterparts. The students have prepared music, food, and live performances for this event, where all proceeds will go towards supporting their trip.
