DESCRIPTION:Join the CIUS Center and world-renowned Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioners for a lecture and demonstration. \nRSVP HERE  \nTraditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) combines the dual properties of humanities and natural sciences manifesting wisdom and creativity gained through five thousand years of Chinese history. TCM contains elements of Chinese traditional culture and philosophies\, representing Chinese perceptions of life and relationship with nature. \nOrganized in partnership with Beijing Language and Culture University\, world-renowned traditional Chinese medicine practitioners will present the culture of TCM\, TCM diagnosis\, treatment methods\, and demonstrate common TCM therapies. \n  \nAbout the Lecturers: \nDr. Xu Ming is a chief physician at Yiling Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital\, a visiting professor of Changchun University of Chinese Medicine and has been engaged in clinical work of traditional Chinese medicine for 43 years. Based on the traditional Chinese medicine and pharmacy practices handed down from the older generations of Xu’s family\, Xu applies traditional Chinese medicine to treat difficult diseases such as cirrhosis\, osteoarthropathy\, cardiovascular disease\, and tumors and has achieved special therapeutic and curative effects. \nDr. Wang Weiguo is the Director of Tongluo Center of Yiling Health City\, a spine management specialist and special doctor at Tongrentang Traditional Chinese Medicine center. He has 20 years of experience in clinical TCM acupuncture and massage.
