Chinese Philosophy through Calligraphy Exhibit

February 1, 2018 - March 3, 2018

We are proud to showcase a collection of calligraphy works by Ye Huazhou, a contemporary master calligrapher who has won numerous national prizes and awards for his work. In Chinese Philosophy Through Calligraphy, his work exemplifies many different styles of work taken from centuries of artistic practice, which allows the richness of this artform to shine. We hope that the work on display here sparks an interest in Chinese traditions, and promotes cultural exchange between China and other countries.

This exhibition is made possible through the partnership of the Confucius Institute U.S. Center, the Confucius Institute at George Washington University, the China International Cultural Exchange Center, and the Huai’an Municipal People’s Government of Jiangsu Province.
